Images for every post

Graphics make every website more attractive.  When you’re using Branford Magazine, homepage graphics are vital.  Here are some templates that you can use to create your homepage graphics for Branford Magazine.

Here’s the basic homepage image size.  It’s 75 pixels by 75 pixels.

75x75

When you use that size image for your homepage, it’s usually in the middle column of the page.

(Technically, that’s the right column.  From the left side of your homepage, your columns are the featured column, the right column, and the sidebar.)

The far left column — where excerpts of your featured stories appear — uses an image that’s 255 pixels by 88 pixels.  Here’s how it looks:

255x88

The images in your lead story can be any size.  However, images under 250 pixels by 250 pixels work best.  I generally use graphics that are about 150 x 150 pixels.

You can right-click to save either of the images, above.  They can be templates for building your own homepage graphics.
